Bio
Anoushka Sansom is a Sydney-based Gender-Queer curator and artist.
Her making practice includes painting, performance, and video. As an artist she investigates narratives of gender, and gendered rights of passage through Queer Abstraction, alternative histories and myth-making.
Her curatorial practice focusses on community building and the intersection of cultural and communal histories, and individual stories. As a Queer curator, she traverses lines between curatorship, public programming, and events to find exciting ways for audiences to experience art.
Anoushka holds a Master of Art Curating from the University of Sydney, a Master of Arts from University of New England and a Bachelor of Arts from University of Wollongong.
