Bio
Anoushka Sansom is a Sydney-based Gender-Queer curator and artist.
​
Her making practice includes painting, performance, and video. As an artist she investigates narratives of gender, and gendered rights of passage through Queer Abstraction, alternative histories and myth-making.
​
Her curatorial practice focusses on community building and the intersection of cultural and communal histories, and individual stories. As a Queer curator, she traverses lines between curatorship, public programming, and events to find exciting ways for audiences to experience art.​
​
​Anoushka holds a Master of Art Curating from the University of Sydney, a Master of Arts from University of New England and a Bachelor of Arts from University of Wollongong.
